Putting AI to Work
The application of artificial intelligence is reshaping heart and brain care, from smarter diagnostics to improved cardiac arrest response. We awarded $10.5 million to research teams in California and Michigan that are turning AI potential into real-world solutions.
Excellence in Action
New guidelines and scientific statements set the mark for prevention, treatment and recovery. These illuminated best practices in preventing and treating major health threats, such as stroke, heart attack and angina, and the effect of alcohol and smokeless oral nicotine products on cardiovascular health.
Global Reach
We certified the first stroke centers in India, advancing international standards in lifesaving care. This will help establish a coordinated system of care to confront the fourth-leading cause of death in India.
Focusing on CKM
We’re studying the unique impact that cardiovascular-kidney-metabolic (CKM) syndrome has on women. The $13.2 million research initiative will explore the combined effect of heart disease, kidney disease, diabetes and obesity and develop targeted responses.
The CDC Connection
We’re boosting awareness of heart valve disease, especially in women, with new Centers for Disease Control funding. It will support a national communication campaign, education for health care professionals and community collaborations.
Advancing Policy
We vigorously pursue policies that protect and improve lives at the national, state and local levels.
Protecting Our Kids
We’re exposing Big Tobacco’s flavored tactics and defending youth from dangerous e-cigarette addiction. We applauded Denver, Colorado, which banned the sale of flavored tobacco products.
Supporting the Next Generation
A transformative grant is fueling national efforts to support children’s health from the very beginning. The $9 million investment from the Pritzker Children’s Initiative empowers the National Collaborative for Infants and Toddlers and Voices for Healthy Kids to improve outcomes for children from the prenatal period to age 3.
Defending Science
We championed National Institutes of Health funding to continue lifesaving research. NIH-sponsored science has contributed significantly to cardiovascular wellness over the past seven decades. We presented our case for preserving the NIH’s role in biomedical research.

We鈥檙e transforming health in communities nationwide, expanding care, saving lives and building a stronger future for millions.
Heroes, Not Bystanders
Hundreds of emergency plans and greater CPR readiness are making ours a Nation of Lifesavers. We provide CPR training to 22 million people each year, and this year, lifesaving education was extended to more than 80 countries.
Healthy Food Access and Education
We worked with hundreds of organizations to screen for food insecurity and deliver more nutritious options. The 缅北视频 helped 225 community organizations expand their capacity to provide fresh and frozen produce.
Elevating Rural Care
We empowered rural hospitals through Get With The Guidelines® and other professional certification efforts. People in rural communities experience higher rates of stroke and heart disease. We’re seeking to reduce those disparities through the Rural Health Care Outcomes Accelerator.
Investing in Innovation
Our 缅北视频 Ventures™ and Social Impact Funds accelerate emerging science and foster better heart and brain health. The Go Red for Women Venture Fund invested in Neura Health, a virtual neurology clinic that addresses conditions, such as migraine headaches, that disproportionately affect women.
